Topic statement of a critical report
Research Areas: Cultural hybridization plays an important role in the development of commercial animation
Keywords: Cultural hybridization, commercial animation, development history
Does the topic motivate you to research and discover?
I think it will have a far-reaching impact. In the current environment, cultural hybridization and economic globalization are inevitable, and our creation as animators is inseparable from a cultural collision. How to achieve positive cultural hybridization that really plays a role in cultural promotion is what animators should think about at present
How might the research impact present or future theoretical and practical study? Are there potentials to apply new learning?
Certainly, in the future, cultural hybridization will be more intense. How to grasp this degree is the key to doing well in animation. Looking back at Disney’s animation history undoubtedly does not mean that it will not be eliminated only to keep up with the times, and what the audience wants to see is the integration of multi-element culture or re-culturalism creation
Will you be able to fulfil and evidence the outcomes outlined in the assignment?
I intend to make an in-depth analysis of the cultural hybridization between successful and unsuccessful animation works in the past 80 years to get some evidence to support my argument
Audience: who and what is the report for?
My audience is a creative group engaged in commercial animation. I hope my analysis and exploration can help them
Purpose: what do you want them to know?
Let them understand the positive and negative effects of cultural hybridization
